Invitation to RECONNECT at the 2022 Joint Conference of ESA and SCB Oceania
As the world begins to open again, many of us are embracing the opportunity to reconnect – with each other, with nature, and with efforts to restore connections within nature.
The ESA and SCB Oceania invite you to build, explore and share these ‘reconnections’ at our joint conference on Dharawal Country in Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
Rekindle old networks and forge new ones with colleagues from throughout the Oceania region. Examine the role our own connections to nature play in our ecological practice and mental health. Or discuss the importance of connection-making within nature, like establishing natural corridors and improving ecosystem functionality.
The ARDC is a Major Sponsor and a Field Trip Sponsor at the conference. Visit the ARDC Booth to discover digital research infrastructure and services available now for accelerating earth and environmental research.
ARDC CEO Rosie Hicks and others will be speaking at the Public Launch of the EcoCommons ecological modelling platform on Tuesday, 29 November 6-8 pm. The launch event is free to all registrants. If you haven’t already, register now.
