Sharing lessons and approaches to the Data Management Guide

Co-authored by the Australian Research Council (ARC), the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and Universities Australia (UA), the Management of Data and Information in Research Guide contains guidance for institutions and researchers on how they can implement the Code as it relates to the subject of research data.

This webinar by ARC and NHMRC will focus on funder’s expectations and requirements in relation to data management. It will also include a short Q&A session.

It aims to enable research offices within universities and Medical Research Institutes (MRIs) to have a clear and consistent understanding of the data management requirements and responsibilities as outlined in the Code and the Data Guide.

Who should attend?
The workshop will be of greatest benefit to research administration staff working in Research Offices within Universities or Medical Research Institutes tasked with implementing research data management policies.

Follow up workshops
The event will be followed by two workshops.

  • one aimed at research offices within Universities, and
  • one aimed at Medical Research Institutes.

The workshops will be an opportunity to facilitate knowledge exchange and network building within and across institutions to develop solutions to research data management challenges:
