2024 eResearch Australasia Conference

About the Event

Hosted by Australasian eResearch Organisations (AeRO), eResearch Australasia is the premiere event for those interested in eResearch and actively transforming research via information technology.

Held in Melbourne this year, the conference will provide an exciting opportunity for delegates to engage, connect and share their ideas and exemplars concerning new information-centric research capabilities, and how ICT technologies can help researchers to collaborate, collect, manage, share, process, analyse, find, understand and reuse information.

By attending the conference, you will learn from national and international experts, network with like-minded professionals, and meet with industry suppliers.

Program Overview

The main program will run from Tuesday 29 October to Thursday 31 October. Pre- and post-conference workshops will be held on Monday 28 October and Friday 1 November.

Abstract Submission

Abstract submission is open from now until:

• 31 May for oral presentations, birds-of-a-feather (BoF) sessions, lightning talks and workshops
• 27 September for posters.

Presentations are encouraged to be focused on original research, case studies, frameworks, or practical applications relevant to eResearch. Submissions will be peer reviewed to ensure the selection of high-quality contributions for presentation. Submissions are encouraged from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professionals, students, researchers, educators, early-career professionals and researchers.
