RDA Plenaries are held every six months in different places around the world (see previous plenary locations, dates and themes below). They are exciting and productive events that bring together a unique community of data scientists, librarians, computer scientists, and domain scientists. Plenary meetings are special working events that really help move the community forward in creating tangible deliverables that improve data sharing across disciplines, technologies, and countries.
The International Data Week 2021 (IDW), planned to take place this November, was postponed to 20-23 June 2022 due to the continuing global COVID-19 crisis and aftermath. RDA has decided, however, to still hold Plenary 18 in a virtual format from 3-18 November 2021.
