About the Event
The DMP Course for Librarians aims to help librarians to learn skills around data management planning to facilitate better collaboration with researchers. It was funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and, with the goal of adding the developed courses to the Library Carpentries curriculum, administered by UCLA as part of their Open Science for Librarians program.
At this first meeting of the DMPs Interest Group of 2024, you’ll hear a presentation and be able to join a discussion on the course. The meeting will also seek feedback on possible activities in 2024 for the interest group.
This meeting will be hosted by John Brown (Curtin University), chair of the DMPs Interest Group.
Speakers
- Lena Bohman, Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
