ARDC Awarded $46.4 Million in NCRIS 2023 Funding

The ARDC has been awarded $46.4 million in NCRIS 2023 Funding from the Australian Government to optimise and expand the HASS and Indigenous, People, and Planet Research Data Commons.

The ARDC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $46.4 million under the NCRIS 2023 Funding Round, which brings the total Australian Government investment in the ARDC to $165 million for 2023–2028. This welcome additional funding will enable the ARDC to optimise and expand capability in the HASS and Indigenous, People, and Planet Research Data Commons. The Australian Government’s continued investment highlights the critical role of the ARDC in supporting Australia’s research and innovation system and strengthens its approach through building Thematic Research Data Commons. The ARDC will continue to work closely with national partners to deliver transformative digital research infrastructure for Australian researchers.
