Enabling FAIR Data in the Earth and Space Sciences

This October 2019 webinar discusses a case study involving hundreds of partners from across the geoscience community to make geoscience data more findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable on a large scale.

The speakers provide insights on how to do FAIR data well in the earth and space sciences. Data in this area is ‘world heritage’ and needs to be properly documented, credited and preserved. It also needs to be FAIR and open to allow it to be reused.

Speakers:

  • Shelley Stall – Senior Director, Data Leadership, AGU
  • Lesley Wyborn – Adjunct Fellow, NCI, ANU
  • Jens Klump – Team Leader, Geoscience Analytics, CSIRO
