Data Management Planning: Lessons From Europe

This webinar looks at how data management plan (DMP) infrastructure is developing in Europe and profiles current drivers and opportunities.

About the Webinar

This 2019 webinar is presented by the ARDC-led DMP Interest Group and features Sarah Jones, who has been engaged in international DMP activities for the past decade and is a former Associate Director of the UK’s Digital Curation Centre.

The webinar looks at trends such as funders placing the onus of responsibility on research institutions, universities requiring PhD students to have DMPs approved by supervisors for progression, and typical feedback/review practices.

Features of the UK Digital Curation Centre’s DMPonline tool are also demonstrated.
