Executive Summary and Additional Background Information
The ARDC annual business planning , strategic planning, and capital implementation planning processes aim to provide national and sustainable solutions with a broad range of stakeholders, via a thorough planning process. The ARDC is utilising a range of tools to develop and guide the decisions that need to be made in this planning process.
One of these tools is the ARDC Strategic Overview , a draft high level document that is useful for setting direction. This has been approved by our Board to be used as a discussion draft for consultation with stakeholders, and it has subsequently been presented at the eResearch Australasia conference.
The high level elements contained in the ARDC Strategic Overview now need to be translated into a set of activities that the ARDC is seeking to undertake in a partnership model. The framework for this translation is the impact methodology developed by CSIRO .
