Our response to COVID-19

Categorised: IMPACT, News

Many of you are worried about the spread and impact of COVID-19. Events are unfolding at a rapid pace, with new information and directions emerging daily.

As all Australians deal with the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, we want to reassure our stakeholders that the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) is committed to maintaining capability across all aspects of business through this challenging time.

As a nationally distributed team, working remotely and virtually is something that comes naturally to the ARDC. All staff are equipped to adapt to support your needs as we work through the challenges of this pandemic.

Specifically, our services such as minting persistent identifiers, access to Nectar Research Cloud, Research Data Australia and Research Vocabularies Australia will continue and operate as usual.

We continually assess the risk of impacts COVID-19 might pose on our staff and operations and we are working closely with our partner institutions to mitigate these risks.

If you have questions about how we work and engage with you or suggestions for things we can do to help you during this time of uncertainty please email contact@ardc.edu.au

Take care in this difficult time, and be kind to yourself and each other.

Best wishes,

Rosie Hicks, CEO Australian Research Data Commons
