The ARDC joined with the 26 facilities supported by the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) to celebrate National Science Week 2022.

NCRIS facilities provide cutting edge national research infrastructure for Australia’s scientists and researchers, enabling world-leading research.

Check out the Twitter thread to watch short videos about the 26 NCRIS facilities supporting researchers across Australia.

Watch the ARDC’s Natasha Simons share how the ARDC helps scientists and researchers accelerate their research.

Hi! I’m Natasha Simons from the Australian Research Data Commons, also known as the ARDC.

We’re Australia’s national infrastructure dedicated to research data.

The ARDC provides Australian researchers with access to high-quality data assets, digital platforms and digital services, and we play a coordinating role in Australia’s approach to data skills and training.

We have the tools that help researchers find, use, and analyse high-quality data. One of these tools is  Research Data Australia, a national discovery portal which anyone can use to find thousands of datasets from over 100 Australian research universities and organisations.

The ARDC supports every field of research. We work with researchers and their research organisations to provide innovative digital infrastructure solutions that help Australia address the big challenges of our time, from environment to economy to health and wellbeing.

The future looks bright for data-driven research in Australia thanks to the Australian government’s NCRIS program and the ARDC.
