The ARDC worked with a small number of organisations to capture and share information about current practice, and proposed approaches to dynamic data citation. Membership included representatives from the Integrated Marine Observing System, Geoscience Australia, Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network, National Computational Infrastructure and CSIRO.

It was of interest to those who are keen to make research software more visible, especially those who support researchers that create research software. Group members could be from a university, research institute or facility, industry or government agency.
