The March 5 meeting will feature two presentations:

  • Joel Benn and Richard Walker from ARDC will give an overview of some of the latest enhancements to the ARDC Vocabulary Services, including the Registry API, the subscription/notification system, and updates to the Linked Data web pages.
  • Members of the Longitudinal Spine of Government Functions project (CSIRO, Dept. Finance & National Archives) will describe the approach they are taking to linking together functional classifications of government organisations with different descriptions of Australian government organisations. They will describe how controlled vocabularies of government functions can be deliberately mapped and also how mappings may be created statistically via categorised instance data.
