An introduction to software citation and curation for those already working with research data, such as data stewards and data librarians.
This workshop is for anyone involved in managing research data.
Good management of data is critical for reproducible and reusable research, but data has limited use without the software to analyse it. Research software is valuable and should be managed alongside data.
A recent survey of UK researchers indicated that 90% use software and 70% could not continue their research without software.
How can librarians and data stewards apply their skills to offer data and software services?
