Australian health and biomedical research has a rich and diverse data ecosystem that enables world-leading research and the translation of this research into healthcare improvements. The diversity in the data landscape spans sectors, jurisdictions and data modalities. Additionally, many of the data challenges in health research arise from the sensitive nature of the data, as well as privacy and legal considerations.
There is a critical need for digital research infrastructure that can support secure and seamless health research on a national scale across this diverse landscape.
The ARDC’s People Research Data Commons (People RDC) is being established to accelerate the health research and translation pipeline from innovation to impact.
We invite researchers, research infrastructure providers, research institutions, industry, government agencies and other interested parties to join one of the consultation roundtables:
Roundtable 1: Wed 1 June @2.00pm - 4.00pm (AEST)
Roundtable 2: Thurs 2 June @10.00am - 12.00pm (AEST)
Learn more about the People Research Data Commons.
All registrants will be added to the People RDC mailing list for updates on the program.
