ARDC is excited to be sponsoring the Collaborate Innovate 2021 conference! Hosted by the CRC Association, the annual conference is to connect CRCA members, universities, research institutions, industry, business, government and media to further knowledge and practice of research collaboration in Australia.
This year, the organiser will be celebrating 30 years of the CRC Program. The program is a Federal Government initiative, established in 1990, to support outcome-focused research partnerships between publicly funded researchers, business and the community to address long-term challenges in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishing, mining and services, medical, and manufacturing.
The program will be a two-part, hybrid event:
Part one will take place over two half days on 19 and 20 October, with an option to join either in-person in several capital cities (where restrictions allow) or online. The hybrid program will include a conference dinner on 19 October featuring a fireside chat with one of the world’s most influential economists, Mariana Mazzucato.
Part two will be a reunion event in March 2022 in Canberra, featuring the Innovation Showcase at Parliament House, Gala Dinner and 2022 Awards, workshops, communities-of-practice, and the remainder of the conference program.
ARDC CEO Rosie Hicks, together with Professor Roy Green from University of Technology Sydney, and Dr Stefan Hajkowicz, a principal scientist in strategic foresight at CSIRO's Data61 will be speaking at Collaborative Research Plenary @3.30pm, 19 October (AEDT). Be sure to check it out!
