ARDC Platforms Program Open Call Q & A session
The Australian Research Data Commons is running a program of investment in platforms. A goal of the program will be to increase the number of researchers with access to platforms, both in terms of absolute number and in terms of diversity of disciplines. The program will also seek to support a community of platform operators.
We are taking a two-stage approach to making investments in platforms. The first is a call for expressions of interest (EOI) and then a request for proposal (RFP).
The EOI phase is intended to facilitate collaboration between researchers, research groups, research organisations and communities around a proposed Platform investment, with the aim of investing in projects that will deliver improved outcomes. As such, ARDC will broker discussions between similar EOIs so that shared proposals can be developed and submitted in the RFP phase. The RFP phase is a competitive funding call and will only be open to those who submitted an EOI, and their collaborators.
This Q & A session aims to provide further information for interested parties as well as an opportunity to ask questions about the Open Call process. The webinar will be recorded and made available after the event.
