ARDC’s Australian eResearch and Data Skills Summit 2020

ARDC’s Australian eResearch and Data Skills Summit will take place via zoom over five days in a new lightweight format of 3 x 1 hour sessions per day, to make it easier to fit participation into your normal work life.

The summit is funded by the ARDC and aims to build on 2019’s highly successful Australian eResearch Skilled Workforce Summit with presentations and discussions relating to progress on the key challenges raised in 2019, best-practice in remote training and engagement, sustainability, and to define next steps in training and building Australia’s digitally skilled research workforce.

Are you interested or involved in the discovery, coordination, design, development and delivery of digital skills training and resources for research? Then this summit is for you!

This year's Skills Summit is focusing on the following themes:

  • Community - Enhancing peer network exchange through a national coalition of training professionals.
  • Partnerships - Collaborating on the development and delivery of training and materials.
  • Resources -  What techniques, tools and lessons have been successfully used for  remote skills and workforce development?
  • Progress - What new initiatives, business cases for training resources, takeaways put into practice, or challenges from 2019’s summit have been addressed?
