Performing Data in Australasia is a collaboration between the Theatre Aotearoa and AusStage live performing arts databases that brings together researchers and artists interested in archiving performance and developing skills in data analysis through visualisation.
This 3-day symposium continues the momentum from the symposium held in July 2023. With data from the Theatre Aotearoa now migrated to AusStage, opportunities can now explored for analysing New Zealand and Trans-Tasman data using the AusStage database and other tools. This symposium continues work on sharing emerging approaches to data gathering, archiving, interpretation, storytelling and visualisation.
