About the Event

The ecological world around us is facing critical change. Biodiversity is truly on the brink. But positive change can still make a difference, and bold actions can help protect a resilient future.

By sharing insights, experience, and evidence-based research that nurtures a deeper understanding of ecological systems and the critical need for sound environmental policies, effective conservation and management, we can all play a significant role as change-makers.

The 2025 Ecological Society of Australia Conference (ESA 2025) will highlight the important science of ecology in Australia across all its varied forms, and offer valuable opportunities to collaborate and strengthen the connections between theory, research, policy and measurable real-world outcomes.
