About the Event

In partnership with the bushfire community, the ARDC is establishing digital infrastructure solutions through the Bushfire Data Challenges program with the aim of improving Australia’s bushfire resilience, response and recovery. We would like to invite you to the fourth Bushfire Data Challenges Forum.

The forum will be held virtually on Zoom and include 2 sessions:

Session 1 (12 noon to 1:30 pm)

Session 1 will include presentations on:

  • nationally aggregated historical bushfire boundaries data (GA, EMSINA)
  • the bushfire behaviour modelling platform SPARK (CSIRO)
  • a framework for sharing bushfire data and tools between jurisdictional agencies (AFAC)

Session 2 (1:30 to 3 pm)

Session 2 will include parallel breakouts where the ARDC will work with project partners on indicators and pathways to showcase their impact. Reporting on impact allows for showcasing the value of projects and their outcomes.

The main audience for session 2 is the project partners, although external stakeholders are also welcome to attend.

If you would like to attend this forum, please register.
