About the Event

The ARDC invites you to the September 2024 virtual meeting of the Australian Vocabulary Special Interest Group (AVSIG). The discussion will come in 3 parts:

  1. Introducing the Australian Government Linked Data Working Group (AGLDWG) / ARDC linked data identifier service, by Matthias Liffers, ARDC and Nick Car, John Machin, Terhi Nurmikko-Fuller, Andew Fitzgerald, co-chairs of the AGLDWG
  2. Experience using the AGLDWG / ARDC linked data identifier service, by Chee Ng, Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS)
  3. Experiences of a user of a range of identifier services, by Simon Cox, Timely Logic.

About the AVSIG

Formed in July 2016, the AVSIG provides a forum for discussion and activity on the use and creation of controlled vocabularies in research, data, information and collection management. The AVSIG is supported by the ARDC.

The AVSIG has a Google Group discussion list to support communication among members. Join the AVSIG by subscribing to the list.
