About the Event

At the October 2025 ARDC National Digital Research Skills Summit, more than 100 trainers, researchers, and research support professionals gathered in Brisbane and online to share ideas, build networks, and chart the future of research training in Australia.

This November National Skills Forum continues that conversation. We’ll revisit key takeaways from the Summit: what resonated, what we’re already acting on, and where shared challenges remain. The focus is on translating ideas into action as we look ahead to 2026.

The ARDC National Skills Forum is a monthly community event for trainers and research support professionals hosted by the ARDC Skilled Workforce Development Team. Our purpose is to facilitate knowledge exchange across the trainer community and showcase digital research skills development activities, resources, and best practices across the sector.
