About the Event

The ABNA annual conference provides an opportunity to connect with biobankers and biospecimen scientists from around the world to discuss shared strategies to shape the future of biobanking. With the theme “Biobanking Evolving Through Time”, the 2025 program will once again foster professional growth and encourage a commitment to excellence through expert talks exploring novel approaches to traditional biospecimen science as well as and cutting-edge biobanking technology.

Program

Enjoy workshops, special interest group meetings, rapid fire presentations, poster displays, and elevator pitch presentations as well as a range of networking events including biobanker speed networking, a site visit and gala dinner to facilitate collaborations with researchers, policymakers, corporate sponsors and industry leaders to drive innovation and partnership.

We’ll explore how research data infrastructure is evolving in this new era of AI and emerging tech, and how communities like the Research Data Alliance (RDA) are enabling global collaboration through open, FAIR data.
