19th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC25)

About the Event

Hosted by the Digital Curation Center (DCC), IDCC is an established annual event with a unique place in the digital curation community. IDCC25 welcomes those passionate about digital curation, offering a range of workshops, notable keynotes, paper discussions, and networking opportunities with like-minded data practitioners.

Marking 20 years since the first IDCC, this year’s theme is “Twenty Years Back, Twenty Years Forward: Lessons and Directions in Digital Curation”.

The ARDC will be in The Hague and online presenting and promoting International Data Week 2025.

ARDC and International Data Week 2025 is a Bronze Sponsor of the IDCC25.

Program

At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• hear from experts and gain insights from the digital curation community
• participate in dynamic workshops led by community experts
• discuss policy and practice with like-minded data practitioners
• participate in scholarly discussions, lightning talks and a poster exhibition

This year IDCC have created separate in-person programme and a virtual programme webpages.

• Global Open Research Commons: Enabling Curation for the Next 20 Years
  • Date: Tuesday 18 February 2025 (Day 1)
  • Time: 4:30 pm to 5 pm (GMT+1)

In person registration is open until Monday 3 February 2025.

Virtual registration is open until Monday 17 February 2025.

The local hosts and the RDA have secured additional funding to support low and middle-income country (LMIC) attendees. The grant covers a full or partial financial contribution towards in-person or virtual registration fees.
